What the winners have in common

8 of the 10 hotels named here are 4- or 5-star, luxury-positioned properties, the kind with years of established editorial and OTA coverage behind them, exactly the depth of third-party citation that AI engines lean on for a confident answer. The two exceptions are Staylight's own real customers, Golden Well Hotel and Mosaic House Design Hotel, both boutique properties that show up here without any relationship between that fact and their AI visibility work, they earned these mentions the same way every other hotel on this list did.

We don't have a technical readiness audit for most of the hotels on this list, that data only exists for Staylight's own customers, so we won't guess at why the other 8 are winning beyond what's visible: established brand recognition and a long history of press and OTA coverage. That's a real, if unsatisfying, answer, and also a genuine opportunity: a newer or smaller property doing focused technical and off-page work has real room to compete for the same questions.

Methodology

This is a real data pull from Staylight's own already-collected production scan data, not a single freshly-run panel. 46 unique, non-branded, recommendation-style Prague questions (asked as part of several different properties' own tracking panels, a mix of real paying customers and internal demo properties) produced 320 real answers across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. Hotel names were extracted from the real answer text using a bold-markdown pattern match plus a hotel-keyword filter, then manually merged where the same real hotel appeared under a spelling or diacritic variant. This likely undercounts hotels mentioned without bold formatting, a conservative bias, not an inflated one. Snapshot taken 2026-09-09; AI answers change over time, so treat this as a real point-in-time read, not a live ranking.

Questions

How was this Prague list actually built?

From 320 real answers Staylight's own scans have already collected, across 46 unique, non-branded, recommendation-style questions ("best hotels in Prague," "where should I stay," and similar) asked to ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. Hotel names were extracted directly from the real text of those answers, not modeled or estimated.

Does paying Staylight get a hotel onto this list?

No. This list reflects who these 5 AI engines already name unprompted for real Prague recommendation questions. Two of the hotels on it happen to be real Staylight customers (disclosed with a link to their case study); the rest have no relationship with Staylight at all.

My hotel isn't on this list. What does that mean?

It means these 5 AI engines didn't name it in this particular real data pull, not necessarily that something is broken. Check your own hotel's real detection rate directly rather than assuming from this list alone.

Will this page get updated?

Yes, this is a snapshot from a real point in time, not a live feed, and AI answers shift as models and indexes change. We'll refresh it as more real scan data accumulates rather than promising a fixed schedule we can't guarantee.
